eBird Profile
You can probably tell from my collection of wildlife photos that I am particularly interested in birds. Use this link to view my birding stats on my eBird profile. Anyone with an eBird account should be able to see my eBird profile page.
Copper Country Bird Club
I am a board member of the Copper Country Bird Club (formerly “Copper Country Audubon’). The club regularly provides information about and opportunities for seeing birds throughout the Western Upper Peninsula of Michigan. The club has also supported many bird research projects in the Keweenaw and its surrounding region. Please check out the information on their website for upcoming events or opportunities to learn about or participate in projects for the birds found in the Copper Country.
Keweenaw Land Trust
The Keweenaw Land Trust has protected more than 7,000 acres across the Michigan’s western Upper Peninsula. They invite everyone to get outside and explore these very special places and encourage all to always practice Leave No Trace ethics when exploring outdoors, especially when visiting their nature areas. Please be respectful of these lands that have been conserved for everyone to enjoy. I explore the KLT properties often when I am searching for engaging wildlife and night sky photos.
